Quiet Lake
A companion piece to "Peaceful Sunrise" (pictured below), this work was commissioned to bring a subtle pop of color and texture to someone's dining room. The 24" x 30" acrylic work on canvas looks great in it's new home!
Peaceful Sunrise
Painted on my great-grandmother's easel, this 24" x 30" acrylic work on canvas was originally inspired as a counterweight to the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, a tranquil reminder of all the beautiful things waiting in the future.
Looking Up at the Leaves
There's something childishly fun about painting from the perspective of a frog? The angles allow for a unique study of light and translucency in this small 6" x 6" acrylic work on canvas.
Spring in August
As much as I love living in Richmond, the weather can be hard on our flowers. To remedy that, I decided to paint a variety of wildflowers better known for thriving in other climates, resulting in this 6" x 6" artwork.
River City
I've been wanting to do a work like this for a long time. An homage to my hometown, this Richmond City skyline was a fun experiment with reflections, geometry, and detailed perspective, a reflection of my bright hopes for the future of this town.
